Ethiopian Yergacheffe
$13.99 Per lb.
One of our favorite coffees, it is grown at an altitude of over 7000 feet, hence, the beans are quite small and the flavors and aroma very concentrated. This coffee is very winey and quite intense with respect to acidity and body. It is similar to Yemen Mocha in some respects. This is an especially bold coffee, with very much its own spicy character. There is an exotic, wild and quite identifiable power to the Ethiopian coffee grown in this region. Ethiopia is the land where wild coffee first grew and its coffees remain some of the most distinctive. A rare elegant coffee from the highlands of Ethiopia. Yirgacheffee is medium bodied, complex and naturally sweet with a dry finish. 3 on the roast meter
Kenya AA "La Nanas"

Highest grade is "AA". Markedly winey. Full, complex taste with good acidity. Grown extensively on or near Mt. Kenya, "AA" beans are round and large. Very popular in Europe, Kenya AA has a pervasive fragrance in bean and ground and a lingering aftertaste in brew. One of the world's greatest coffees. This Arabic bean produces an intense flavor with full body and snappy heartiness. Yum! 3 on the roast meter
